50 Years In Exile

I think I would have to lie to say I wasn't glad to be done with India. Not because I didn't like it or I didn't enjoy myself, India takes a lot from a person that isn't used to such a place. It took a lot out of me but it gave me much more than just memories. I left early this morning for Bangkok and here I sit, with the shades drawn and the lights off, sitting in my underwear and needing a shower badly. Today, I'm on vacation from my vacation. There is a new city out there in a new country but I don't care. Pictures from the last week and a half or so:
One of the fine luxury coaches of the Indian public transport system. This one even has windows.
It was very early in the morning.

  1. Beautiful, amazing, wonderful pictures. Relax for a bit in Thailand! Did you go to Khao San Road? Go there to chill - splurge on the expensive room ($7 rather than $1.50), eat some good food. I found the people of Thailand to be so kind and friendly. If you go south to Phuket or Ko Phi Phi the buses are so cush. Stay in touch!
